DeelnemerI understood from first time. Triggering of side airbags from seats is done by the ecu based on the signal received from the doors sensors.
One of my friends has issues with the sensors connections in the door, that’s why I know. You can connect the cable, but since the sensors are not fitted and ecu is not coded, will not work.

DeelnemerAstra G has also additional side impact sensors in the doors. You don’t have them, so will not work anyway. Airbag ecu is not coded for side airbags, so will not work also.

Deelnemer@all, Bigga010 car is Astra H, motor is Z16XEP, different than Z16XE, still not sure which ecu he has, but most likely not Multec. Maybe he has same issues, but still a different car than Astra G.

DeelnemerI know a romanian forum where this kind of change is done regulary. Note, climate control unit must be programmed for heat reflective windscreen or normal one, for left hand drive or right hand drive. Only with tech2. Note that front doors must be removed or bolts cut short. If you need more pictures, let me know.

DeelnemerIt is no secret and it is known long time ago. Windows enforces driver signature. Which is not available for opcom. Therefore you need to disable driver signature enforcement, lots of youtube tutorials on that (windows 8 and 7). Once the protection is removed, driver can be installed without problems.

DeelnemerCables are hot because of the bad connection to the accu pole. You need new cables and cable shoes. No need to look where the cable goes, it needs replacement or if you are lucky, only new cable shoe.
