Ik ben aan het kijken voor een nieuwe afstandsbediening voor de centrale deurvergrendeling van mijn Astra G uit 2001, maar ik heb helaas geen sleutelcode bij mijn auto gekregen toen ik hem kocht. Hoe kom ik erachter of ik een sleutelcode nodig heb voor een nieuwe afstandsbediening?

May I ask what tools you use to figure out the key code? If I recall correctly, someone I know has a tool to read stuff like error codes from the car (Opcom I believe). Would something like that work for this as well? It would save us both some driving, and if we would meet half way, it would probably be cheaper to just get a carpass from the dealer. :)
Could be that is cheaper at the dealer. It is the opcom, but the modified software is not public released.
